The Chief Technology Officer will report to the CEO.  They will set the strategic technology direction for the company and have responsibility for Development, Test and Customer Support.

The ideal candidate for this executive position will have:

• IT, Software Engineering Degree or proven experience.
• 10+ years’ experience in the development and implementation of IT systems.
• Experience in Microsoft SQL Server technology and licensing.
• Understanding of database and server management.
• 5+ years’ experience in management of personnel (minimum of 20).
• Experience leading a team in Agile product development methodologies including Scrum.
• Experience of delivering ‘follow the sun’ customer support and resolution.
• Project management skills.
• First class written documentation reporting skills, verbal and presentation communication skills.
• Knowledge of current technology and vendor landscape and future trends, particularly in the Enterprise mobility space.

Working both independently and within a team, the senior tester provides status feedback of the Blackbay software quality to the Project Lead and Manager. The role is responsible for working closely with Development, Professional Services and maintenance teams for various projects in order to test releases and fixes as part of the software development life cycle. Documentation and Test Execution plays a very important part of the day to day duties.
