On the Leading
Edge of Mobility
Blackbay was
recently invited to become a member of Microsoft’s Developer
Advisory Council (DAC).
Blackbay is one of only 20 Microsoft Partners to
be invited to attend the first DAC meeting at Microsoft
headquarters in Seattle. Blackbay was
given the opportunity to be actively involved in discussions
with Microsoft experts and share thoughts on the latest
technology in development.
The
DAC focuses exclusively on
technology and the issues and opportunities presented by Windows
Mobile, both as a development platform and a cornerstone of
mobility architecture. The DAC provides a forum for enterprise
developers and architects to converse with the Windows Mobile
product teams to share, collaborate, solve technical problems
and provide insight into future Windows Mobile releases.

Blackbay’s
involvement in the DAC is another step in strengthening our
relationship with Microsoft. Earlier this year Blackbay
was
one of the world’s first Microsoft Gold Partners to achieve
their Mobility Solutions Competency.
Our partnership with Microsoft ensures that we are continually
improving our software to provide our customers with the most
effective mobile solutions.
The next DAC meeting is scheduled for early Q2 in 2007 with the
intention to have 2 or 3 meetings per year.
Windows Mobile
Partner Summit 2007
Blackbay was also invited to exhibit at the Windows Mobile Partner
Summit 2007 on January 16-17, at The Westin in
Bellevue, Washington.
The summit was held over the course of two days and provided an
opportunity for Blackbay to receive in-depth training on the
latest Microsoft software as well as showcasing our solutions
Service Connect and Delivery Connect.
