90% Reduction in Daily Stocktaking Time with RFID Smart Fashion Shop

SeeNow and Blackbay have combined to deliver a comprehensive RFID solution for the Textile and Fashion Industry. The Smart Fashion Shop enables businesses to achieve operational efficiencies by providing real-time transparency from the manufacturers’ production lines to the retail store.

The Smart Fashion Shop is targeted primarily at the Textile and Fashion Industry and is currently being used in Bella East Studio’s Fashion retail stores in Singapore.

How does it work?

Each garment is tagged with an RFID HF tag, either by the manufacturer or the retailer.

The garments are then scanned with Blackbay's RFID HF reader throughout the stock room and the shop floor. This includes recording size, colour and style codes.

The tag information is then sent to the inventory management system enabling real-time stock visibility.

The results

	Stocktaking time has been reduced from 12 hours to 25 minutes
	Stocktaking accuracy has increased to 99.9%
