Number of Supported Devices Growing by the Minute In the last month the Delivery Connect team have been busy developing solutions targeted as the selection of new industrial handheld computers. As well as the traditional Symbol and Intermec devices, we now have the ability to support Delivery Connect on the following new products:
In addition, we have recently added support for new Intermec models 730 and 761 with plans for a build compatible with the Symbol MC50 compact WiFi terminal. The implementation of support for a number of these devices were for specific client trials, so are not yet available for generic Delivery Connect implementations. However, the experience gained with these devices ensures that standard Delivery Connect builds could be delivered in a relatively short time frame if required. The variety of new devices now available bodes well for the future of the PocketPC platform, which now dominated the industrial handheld computer market for devices with integrated communications.
