Royal Mail Wins Excellence Award
When the Royal Mail Group introduced online tracking to improve customer service levels in its ‘Recorded Signed For’ and ‘Special Delivery’ division, one of the major challenges they faced was the introduction of a multi-function mobility solution for 27,000 delivery personnel. In 12 weeks Royal Mail configured 260,000 components into 27,000 handhelds to over 2,000 locations, trained 35,000 drivers and migrated all existing tracked products into the solution. Royal Mail now have visibility of all mail items, people, and assets through the pipeline, enabling the business to maximise revenue and optimize operational performance.
