  • Scalability - Support for large increases in the number of scanners deployed in the field and large spikes in transaction volumes (e.g. parcel deliveries during the Christmas season) in order to support implementations for the very largest logistics and field service enterprises.
  • Reliability - Provides high levels of reliability (over 99.999% or 4 hours down time per annum) to support non-stop 24/365 operations, providing a very high Mean Time Between Failure.
  • Resilience - Supports the ability to survive the failure of one or more server components, including automatic re balancing of traffic to other components within the system.

  • Internationalisation - Provides support for locales used in Western European languages, incorporating internationalisation into all components within the end-user interfaces (and supporting components).
  • Backwards Compatibility - Enables backwards compatibility of scanner applications, so as to support phased incremental roll-outs of scanner application updates.
